‘Panicked’ photographer erases wedding photos, breaks news to newlyweds

This nuptial nightmare was anything but picture perfect.

A photographer broke down in tears after learning that images he’d captured of a couple on their wedding day had been erased from his camera’s memory card.

Justin Gummow, 35, was hired to snap the union in California, taking hundreds of images of the bride, groom and guests at the romantic celebration.

But the snapper was left “panicked” after transferring the photos to his computer and realizing the memory card had become “corrupted,” deleting all the images.

Laura Mahon, 30, from St Helens, was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain tumor in September 2021 when she was 27 weeks pregnant.

Thunder Bay police officer allowed bridal photo shoot while guarding scene of Indigenous woman’s death

A First Nation’s leader says it’s disturbing that a Thunder Bay, Ont., police officer allowed a wedding party to take photos at the scene where an Indigenous woman was found dead while he was tasked with guarding the scene.

Anna Betty Achneepineskum, deputy grand chief of Nishnawbe Aski Nation, was reacting to a social media post that showed the officer alongside the bridal party at the city’s waterfront Marina Park over the weekend.

What was meant to be the best day of their lives has been permanently tarnished for Queensland newlyweds Natasha and Ryan, who may never see the only photos taken on their wedding day.
