A few years back, I wrote about when I was in a high school theater production in the 1970s and spent a great deal of time rehearsing a ‘double-take’ for one scene … a video of which is now available on the internet, showing it has to have been THE worst double-take of all time.

My problem was likely because I looked it up in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, which defines a double-take as “a delayed reaction to a surprising or significant situation after an initial failure

Iconic vintage NASA space photographs currently up for auction at artnet

NASA photographers during the 1960s captured intriguing glimpses of our universe as well as candids of the astronaut teams who explored it. These vintage prints are now up for auction until 12 January, with bidding already as high as $26,000.

The earliest dated images on the auction site collection were captured in 1965, with the latest dated as captured in 1984. The collection is titled ‘The Final Frontier: NASA Photographs from the 1960s’ and is live now with limited days remaining to bid.
