BEIJING – Older couples commemorate the big day decades after the fact thanks to a student project, Xu Lin and Zhou Lihua report in Wuhan.

After being married for 38 years, Zhang Jianjun and Qin Shumei decided it was time to get a picture. Dressed in formal attire, they are finally ready for their wedding photos.

The photographer, lighting operator and makeup artist are from the younger generation. They communicate with the elderly couple to help them overcome nervousness to ensure good photos.

Olympian Simone Biles married Jonathan Owens on Saturday, April 22, 2023. The US Olympic gymnast married the American football player with the National Football League (NFL) team Houston Texans.

Biles, a seven-time Olympics champion, and Owens, announced their marriage on April 22, after receiving the marriage license on April 15, issued in Montgomery County in Texas, USA. Biles posted their wedding pictures on her social media handle with the caption, “I do, officially owens” and two white heart emojis. She also tagged Owens in the post.

The gymnast also changed her visible name to Simone Biles Owens on social media.

Mum battling inoperable brain tumor gets wedding photos of her dreams

Laura Mahon, 30, from St Helens, was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain tumor in September 2021 when she was 27 weeks pregnant.

Doctors originally believed the baby was pressing on a nerve, but she was sent to The Walton Center for an MRI scan; which led to the discovery of the tumour.

She and her husband Danny, 29, made the toughest decision of their lives; and opted to bring their daughter into the world at 30 weeks.

Small businesses help couples recreate lost wedding photos

PEORIA (25News Now) – Christopher and Katharine Hueser have only been married since September, but they’ve already seen some ups and downs.

The down? Shortly after their wedding day, the photographer experienced several technical problems and all of their photos were lost.

“It was rough, it was rough,” Katharine said next to her husband. “I had several breakdowns, a lot of crying.”

“But I’m a very emotional person,” she said, starting to smile. “In our wedding vows, I promised Chris I would cry at the drop of a hat.”
