Ever wished that the stunning visuals seen in the world of a Wes Anderson film were real?

You can’t actually check in at the Grand Budapest Hotel or hang with the Royal Tenenbaums, but for over six years, a popular Instagram account, Accidentally Wes Anderson (AWA), has been posting images of actual locations that look like stills from the famous director’s films.

Sleepy polar bear that dug out a bed in sea ice to nap wins prestigious wildlife photography award

One of the world’s most prestigious wildlife photography awards has announced its winner – and it’s equal parts mesmerizing and adorable. The winner of the Natural History Museum of London’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year award was Nima Sarikhani, for her captivating image of a polar bear sleeping on sea ice.

The photograph, called “Ice Bed,” was captured in Norway’s Svalbard archipelago, the museum says in its description of the photo. According to a news release, Sarikhani had spent three days looking for polar bears while aboard an exploration vessel in the area, but had had no luck as they

Persons with autism test photography skills documenting Panagbenga

BAGUIO CITY – Eight Persons with Autism (PWA) put to test their years of photography training during the Baguio Flower Festival (Panagbenga) during the weekend.

The eight PWAs were accredited by the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFFI) and granted access to vantage locations during the street dance competition and floral floats’ parade which featured 33 participants.

“Masaya po naman (It was fun),” Joseph Noli Vizcocho, 31, said.

Typically, Vizcocho and his fellow PWA would be lumped with professional photographers and other media practitioners.

He said it was not an ideal situation for them and they preferred to cover events

The Princess of Wales has apologized “for any confusion” after she admitted “editing” a Mother’s Day image of her and her children.

Major international picture agencies told media outlets to “kill” the photo from their systems 12 hours after the picture was released by Kensington Palace on Sunday. AP told Sky News the photo broke its manipulation rules as it showed an “inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand”.

Kill notices are uncommon and usually due to issues with copyright or journalistic process – and this has never happened to a royal picture.
